CV
Born in Athens in 1975. She studied at the University of Aegean at the Pedagogical Department of Preschool Education from 1993 until 1997.She attended puppetry seminars at the 7th Sensation and Ceramics School at the Lignarius Arte e Restauro School in Rome. From 2002 until 2004, she studied painting in Scuola di Belle Arti in Rome with a selected workshop on film history. From 2006 to 2011 she studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts with painting direction and selected workshops of engraving, sculpture and woodcutting. She also had piano and harmony studies at the Greek Conservatory and Carl Orff Music and Dalcroze Kinetic Rhythmic Education through the corresponding seminar held in 1997 at the Moraitis School. She participated in the Bipolarity and Art exhibition organized in March 2010 by the Research Institute of Mental Health in collaboration with the Athens Fine Arts. In 2011 she made a personal exhibition at the BARTESSERA bar showroom in Athens. She also participated in the 4th Gabala International Art Exhibition in Gabala (Republic of Azerbaitjan) dedicated to Baku 2015 1st European Games with theme “Sports! Beauty! Life!” organized by Ajerbaijani Culture Foundation, SEBA (Seul-Baku) Ajerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association, and ran from 19th December 2009 to 17th of January 2016. Her work was presented to the guardian newspaper, one of which was chosen by her curator Tate Modern Gallery of London Flavia Frigeri as one of her favorites. Her work has been selected by the selection committee of the 17 INTERBIFEP of the Public Institution “Cultural Centre Tuzla” at Bosnia and Herzegovina. On June 6, 2018, will participate in the Gynaikopaida group exhibition TWIXTlab showroom in Athens. Her works are in private collections in Greece and abroad.

I like freedom and I believe in free expression. The colors, the different kind of material that I use (oil colors, pastels, sprays) and the canvas are the materials which familiarize me with the world. I like to paint people because is my way to feel them, to understand them and see deep inside them.
I like to create a magical no- real space where I put them in. And I like to believe that they models, my people) feel comfortable and warm there, like home |
